Meet the Team Behind Bear Creek Adventures!
Hello! We’re Katie and Monty, the proud owners of Bear Creek Adventures, where we bring our love for the outdoors to life, alongside our other local venture, River Severn Canoes.
The name Bear Creek holds a special meaning for us. We have a lovable Labrador named Bear, and we spent some wonderful time living in Creekside, Canada. The name also evokes memories of all the amazing places we've travelled together.
With over 40 years of combined experience in the school adventure industry, we’re thrilled to share our love for the great outdoors with you.
Monty is our resident expert paddler, having canoed around the globe. He manages the operations of Bear Creek Adventures and is the Managing Director of River Severn Canoes. Meanwhile, Katie has spent over 20 years in adventure travel and oversees all sales and marketing. She’ll be your friendly guide during the booking process, while you’ll spot Monty enjoying the best office view imaginable - right on the water!
Our team also includes a fantastic group of enthusiastic and experienced instructors who share our enthusiasm for adventure and learning.
